Dateline 1 April 2005
Hey everyone, a big crowd in the Columbia region has rejoiced at the return of Magellan Linden!
Apparently a huge rift in time opened up, somehow associated with the massive event that caused Heterocetera Atoll's distinctive shape and structure.
These 'timequakes' strike with sudden severity, lagging any and all caught in them deep into the far future. Well, we got lucky, and it seems that Magellan has rubber-banded back to the present! What a relief!
He is now resting in Nova Albion, in stable condition but not available for interview.
However, a notecard in his hand was found, dating from 1 April 2008.
Did Magellan himself make this? Did someone else? Nobody knows.
At any rate, scraps of notes relate the following about this distant, far-off time over 1000 days into the future. These are the fragments recovered:

Of course, all of this is completely and utterly improbable, as checking the date clearly shows.
I would suggest nobody take this information too seriously - and as fiction goes, it's a bit too unbelievable to be funny. Especially that bit about Havok 4 on 1 April 2008 - I mean, come on guys! Great effort, but try harder next time - I guess the pranksters just had to show everyone it was a gag somehow.

In other news, the real life US housing market is climbing to radical new levels - who can imagine this incredibly bullish market to ever cool off!
