When I get to waiting for region handshake, I keep getting the message 'Unable to connect. Login Packet never received by login server'. Would happen this morning when my son at nursery school and need to get an item finished for someone  |

I just tried and got in with no problem. Have you tried logging in to a different region?

I have tried a couple of locations and disconnected and reconnected my broadband. Firewall is off. Never had this before. Will try a reboot |

I sympathise with you.....it seems that every time my son is either with his dad for the day or at playschool, and I'm all ready for some uninterrupted SL time, I either can't log in or the grid is down.....aaaaaaaggggggghhhhhhhhhhh

Thanks everyone.
I have managed to get in now, reboot seems to have fixed it. Only an hour wasted out of my 2 hours I have of peace and quiet here lol.
It's just typical isn't it Pocket, I don't get online much in the daytime but when needed you can't lol

Hey Denise,
You're absolutely right about it being 'typical'......I could almost guarentee with nearly 100% accuracy that as soon as I have a day to myself, SL will either go off line or I won't be able to log in......wonder if the 'universe' is trying to tell me something....lol

replace outfit isn't working. when you chat you end up counting to 15 before it actually ends up in chat. every time I've teleport all attachments end up in the crotch area.

I get really busy with RL stuff, then I finally have a whole evening or weekend day to just chill out and relax. I get all set up by the computer - something cold to drink, maybe a little snack, got the tunes ready to go and... login failed x10... logged into nearby region - refuses to rez...can't tp. no search, no friends list. can't move... Finally! Everything is back in order, so I log in, pull up the communicate box and everyone is offline. Sigh. Shopping? Nope, no transactions because of the earlier grid problems. Grumpy, lonely Trout. Now add home PC crisis to the list. I wish punching the PC would fix whatever problems it's having that make it not work.
