Is anyone else having trouble getting into SL tonight? I have been trying for over an hour and a half tonight. SOmetimes I get into my home, but I can't move or click anything. I have been around SL long enough to know things happen, but this is getting ridiculous  Also, are Emerald users having more issues pertaining to this than regular SL users? I am tempted to go back to plain old SL if things keep up this way. |

I logged in not long ago with no trouble.
You can keep a number of different viewers installed and switch whenever you feel like you are having a viewer related problem.
I'd start by turning off the entire system, computer, modem, router, and whatever, for a few minutes, then try logging in at a different location than normal. Removing all attachments with a "Detach All" can't hurt.

I agree too. It was ridiculous last night - I couldn't TP anywhere. I had to keep relogging (and yes, I even tried clearing cache regularly and rebooting my PC) and then just setting the region I wanted to go as my start region.
During the day (UK time) today, it was fine, but now I'm having the same problem again.

i had trouble when i logged in a couple of hours ago. the login screen seemed to hang forever, it got stuck first at "initializing multimedia" and then "connecting to region". i never had that issue before. cleared my cache, disabled media thinking it was qt that caused it and logged in fine, but that could have been a coincidence...
