Today when I logged in I found an object called data:<-0.01110, 0.00000, 0.00000>:<0.43148, 0.43107, 0.01002> in my lost and found. Any idea what this is? The creator name is blank so I am tempted to just delete it. .. I have also talked to a couple other people and they have the same object.

It could be something from a privately owned sandbox?

If you don't feel like outright deleting it, you could find a script disabled sandbox and rez it there to find out what it is.

Some scripts use the object name and description to store data. This is actually a pretty bad idea, usually, but there are still some scripts like that. I'm trying to remember what the Timeless Linked Door ends up doing to those fields, for example; it might look something like what's showing up there.

Yup sounds like door or some object thats been renamed by a script for a specific location.

Could be something you left in a sandbox or from your own plot. :)

Recently have you rezzed a house - just to take a look - then deleted or recovered it?

Seems like most times I get some free/cheap house somewhere and rez it just for fun, I always wind up leaving (at the very least) a door or two behind that need to be cleaned up individually

I think I found the culprit ... it was from a Texture Organizer ... when it hands me copies of textures I get the message that "data:< ......... > has given you an object" I must have left an organizer behind somewhere nad had it returned.
