permanent busy mode?

Is there a way to always be in busy mode? I don't mean simply choosing 'set busy'.


Just wondering if there is a debug or something. I am wanting to complete projects without being disturbed by constant group chats, I always for get to go into busy mode when logging in so just wondering if there is a function that keeps you busy. hope this makes sense and thanks in advance

Just do what sl's "designers" do.


Don't answer when you're called. Then later on when confronted say you never got the message or in the case of IM's say they were capped.


Works marvelously for them.

Personally I ignore everything whilst working unless very good friends. I allocate a window between 6pm and 8pm every day to deal with all customer service issue and to answer all other IM's and notes. Gotta cut yourself off from distraction or you'll never get any work done.

Get an alt.
I know some of my friends have alts just so they can work uninterrupted for a time.
And keep your alt's name a closely guarded secret.
You don't really want to make your customers annoyed that they can't ever contact you.
List your 'office hours' in your Profile, sign at your store, on any notecards for your business.

The alt option is very tempting, but it can get a little wako.

What I do is leave the communication window open but minimized and the local chat open and shrank to nothing on the bottom left hand corner.

Also, if you have a business, don't encourage IM's, ask for people to drop off notecards at an inbox in your store instead

Which reminds me, I better get an office with an inbox!!!
