I *think* its possible ...to hide the members of your group from the rest of the world...but Im not sure how to do it? Ive fiddled around with my group and cant find anytihng that hints at this...
Does anyone know if
1) Its possible to hide group members names from prying eyes
2) howww do i do it ?
Oh and its not remotely dodgy...I just want to protect my group members from spam and those with not so honourable intentions (DONT ask, its a longgg storey lol)

Faithless, Open the Group info box as an officer of the group. Click the Members and Roles tab. Select the Role Name for the members of you want to be not visible. Then make the the "Members are Visible" box is unchecked. That's it.  |

I seem to attract friends who are always inviting me to strange groups:
"Hey Graph!!! Here, let me TP you to this GREAT new club!"
So I get a TP to some club called ‘Bunny XXX’ or some ungodly name like that, everyone is dancing in the raw, I say hi, tip a few dancers, I get a message to join the group for free, I look right and left, and everyone is looking at me to see what I would do, so I join. And then poof I am back where I really wanted to be.
So now I am a member of some X-rated group and I sit down to ponder what I should do.
I used to try to hide them, but that didn’t work. So now I just DELETE them. Yes...i said I DELETE them. If I want to go back to the place...if it is worthy of my attention, I would create a LM and that would be that. But to keep all kinds of X-Rated skeletons in my profile...Nah.
but that is not what you asked...lol I just read the question again...
OH yeah! just delete the person from the group!

hi, i know this thread was started a while ago, but this seemed like the obvious place for this...
I am the owner of a group. The visible box is unchecked for all roles except owners.... yet every member of the group is visible to everyone. This isn't acceptable. Does anyone have any suggestions? its driving me insane!

nope, you're screwed... members can see members, just non-members can't... though those members CAN hide the group from their profile, people in the group will still see them on the group page
