How do i purchase L$ with a Card?

Hey guys,

I'm really confused right now.. i cant make head to tail of the whole buying L$.
Iv tried to do it though Paypal and on my account it shows...

SLL Balance: L$0
USD Balance: $*.**
for use: $0.00
for withdrawal $0.00

It dose not make one bit of scence to me...
Could anyone of you help me? I'm also outside of the US, I'm in England.
Is there anyway i can just buy L$ with my credit card.

I'm not sure about English CC's but try buying Lindens from your account page... open your account menu and try using the Linden exchange. Since I can use my CC's just about anywhere in Europe I'd think visa versa.

keep in mind, you have TWO "wallets" per avatar. the SL one, and the XStreetSL one... that post looks like she's talkin about xstreet.

Mannequin - can you clarify what page you are looking at. I actually don't see that verbiage on my Account page here or on Xstreet.

If you want to use a credit card for L$, do this:

- Go to your Account page (it is a link on the left when on the Community page)
- Click on "Account" to expand it
- Click on "Update Billing Info", click "Delete and Update Credit Card Info" and enter your credit card info

- Now back to the main Account page, left hand side, under Linden Exchange, click on "Buy L$"
- Enter whatever amount you want and click "Buy Now"

NOTE that you are limited in the RL $ amount of this stuff in the first few days --- with those number of days starting from your first RL money transaction here and not related to your rez date.


You can also do pretty much the same thing from Xstreet (uses your regular SL login name/pswd): https://www.xstreetsl.com/

And also note that they have changed it so that you have to buy a minimum of $25 US at a time.

Wow - in conjunction with this, the 0-1 day limit has been increased to US $30. About freakin time - cuz the old $10 value was really a bit too low in my opinion.

You can buy a minimum of US$2.50 in L$ directly off the screen, assuming you have a card set up on your account.
