I haven't played SL in a while because of college.

So I went back on and it said I needed to update the release candidate. So I updated and I see the new interface, nice. But I walk around for a bit and then all of a sudden, the music starts skipping and then the game crashes. Anyone else have this problem? This is the first time odd things like this started happening. Any ideas? Thanks.

Same here. Happened when upgrading RC. On Vista and 7600GT Nvidia. Never had it before and the RC before this version worked fine.

You probably once used Windlight, which seemed not a test viewer, but was and set you on a test viewer (RC for Release Candidate) download path to other, less stable viewers. As another poster said, simply download the stable release candidate available on the download page.
