I can see the video on the media stream fine, and when the stream start up I'm able to hear the sound for a few seconds too, but then it cuts out. If I pause the stream then resume it the sound will come back for a few seconds again then cuts out. Any idea how to fix this?

Have you updated your version of QuickTime from Apple?

Something to check that may or may not help is whether you have hardware acceleration turned on for your audio. While I didn't have your exact problem, for a while my audio streams would play fine for a short duration, and then get mangled. I also had problems in which audio was mangled, or wouldn't play at all, with Quicktime media. When I examined audio hardware acceleration and turned it on, all the problems with audio went away. (I don't know when or why it got turned off in the first place.)

From: Oryx Tempel Have you updated your version of QuickTime from Apple? I use Windows 2000 professional, and the latest update says I need XP. Any way to get the same functionality without having to upgrade my OS?
