I've heard some rumors that Linden Labs plans to IPO on the World Stock Exchange when it comes back online.
Can anyone confirm or deny this? And would it be a good investment?

But it did make me curious about something. Is there any requirement in the WSE for a listed entity to be "real" in any sense, that it correlate to any actual inworld assets? I'm wondering if someone could create an LL "follower" stock ... essentially a stock that people could use to express consumer confidence, or lack thereof, in LLs corporate direction. People would use it to do things like essentially "bet" on whether a major feature rollout next week will go well or not. Or ... hmm ... pandas. Could one create a WSE stock called "male panda babies" that you would buy to essentially bet that a given RL expecting panda couple will have a male cub? . _____________________

I'm not sure that panda bears can show an income from continuing operations that exceed L$300k for the previous 90 days before applying to be listed (see the WSE listing requirements).
