Anyone else occasionally find that an av's profile is missing? I know they go missing when people delete their avatar... but I have now seen this happen twice with people who haven't deleted.

Sometimes when the Grid Monkeys are bored, my friends list will show up with (???) listed in place of one or more friends.
Something's not talking to something else in the database.

The only times I've seen that happen is when the servers in SL are going totally nuts. It's usually accompanied by failed teleports and the payment system being offline. Since it's Friday afternoon, I guess we're due for this to start up again. |
