Donating unwanted items?

Is there a SL equivalant of the Good Will that I can dump some of my unwanted items on? I was just trashing them, then it occured to me that someone may want them. A lot of it is Lucky Chair stuff and freebies that weren't really my style.

You might want to contact Sarah Nerd because she has a lot of freebie and discount places......she might be interested in some of it. You could just have a big yard sale....or hang out at one of the help places and announce that you've got 'free stuff' lol.

A goodwill area would be great tho......if I had the fundage to own my own sim....I'd probably set up something like that myself.

Since the start dates here reflect the first time you logged into the forums, not your actual SL start date, and I therefore have no idea how long you've been in SL, I'm going to mention that, if any of the items are marked 'no transfer,' you might as well trash them...you won't be able to get rid of them any other way.

ok i have Restrained Life Downloaded as requested by my Master

Now i cannot log in

i get an error saying : Unable to connect to SL , DNS could not find host name

i typed and retyped my login name and even reinstalled SL

but i still see Restrained Life Release Version ( some numbers ) down at the bottom

now want to know how to fix this or could some one tell me how to Uninstall the restrain Life plz so far it is a hassle not worth the time i cant play

How did you install it? If you just copied it to the SL Directory, like Nicholaz' viewers, just deleting the exe should do it. If it went in through an installer, there should be an uninstaller, or perhaps the Windows Add/Remove Program Utility.

For a long time, I have been talking to new people and once I get to know them abit helping them out by passing on items i no longer want...esp clothing, shoes, etc. I always just ask them to do the same for someone else someday...pay it forward.

I just toss items at newbies. Especially if I see them in the appearance mode trying to create a piece of clothing purely through the sliders.

I read on the Fabulously Free website (pretty sure that is the one) that they have a freebie area in their headquarters and take in transferable items people no longer want.
