Ive been wanting to post new products in the new products forum (obviously hehe). However everytime i want to upload a picture to advertise the product there is always a problem with SL's database. Every single time it happens lol *rolls eyes*

Is this a common problem and if it is..is ther anyway to direct ppl where to see the advertised item?

Thanks in advance
Anni :)

I just post the pic to a free Photobucket account, and use the IMG tag to display it from there. Like this:

All the nice forum functions were disabled on purpose a few years ago - it isn't something that fails by mistake.

I'd just get an account at a site like Photobucket or Imageshack. There's tons of image storage and sharing sites.

Then you just include the image url in IMG tags. If you use the proper editor mode for forum posting you get a "Image" icon that will put the tags in for you. At Photobucket, you can get the url with the image tags already added copied for you to paste into the forum.

Seems like ImageShack didn't use to require registering, anyone know if that is still true?

Photobucket's free account allows a pretty good bit of images to be stored. Photobucket does require registering.

Flickr's free account only allows 200 pictures to be available on the web, although you can have more stored; only the 200 most recent images will show up on the web with the free account.

If snapshots like you make with SL's snapshot function will work you might be able to use Snapzilla.

ImageShack is still free to use without registering.

I have had the same Photobucket free account for 10 years, and love it. You do have to register, but it is what I use all the time :)
