Vanishing Prim Object

A Friend was holding a prim object, when she crashed out - and when she came back online she found the object gone. We have searched everywhere, in Wire-frame, I even did Transparency view, and nothing - Any suggestions?

In the meantime, she is filing a ticket, but she needs this object back fairly urgently, so any methods of possible recovery would be greatly appreciated.

Try the lost and found folder of her inventory, probably its there. If not, clearing cache often helps.

She just did that and nothing - she also contacted the land owner - nothing either

is she sure it's not still attached somewhere, just not where it suppose to be, at one time it was common for boots and other attachments to end up in your bum.

Go to location 0,0,0 in the sim where this occurred. For some reason missing objects often end up there.

Thanks - but no - the object isn't there - we've followed all your suggestions and nothing - not in her inventory or anywhere

I had this happen, one time only, in the 2 years I've been here. I think it was my fault, as I was not rezzed at the time, was a white cloud. And I 'took' the object, while I was a cloud. Could not find it anywhere, and it finally showed up back in my inventory, lost and found, broken, 3 months later. No idea where it had been all that time, I had given up looking for it and bought another one. Might want to give it a few days, sounds like you've tried everything.
