Second Life Viewer doesn't start up any more

I don't think I changed anything on my computer, and SL was running fine last time I tried a couple days ago. Now when I launch it, it makes a window frame that says "Second Life" at the top, but that's all it does. I saw the Detecting Hardware and VFS things going by quickly, but the window is totally empty (no buttons or anything). It has the desktop showing through.

I can run SL on my other computer with no trouble.

In attempt to reset the situation, I installed the new version, but same result.

What now?

Something (Windows Update?) turned on "No Exceptions" on the Windows Firewall. Turned it back off and made sure Second Life.exe was still checked as an exception. Problem solved!

Cool! Glad you got it fixed.
