i am so sorry if there is multitudes of threads that already exist here on this topic.
tonight i set my world to sunset and sit in my fav' place to relax, and i see the clouds in the sky are moving above me, drifting away.
wow... really impressive. such a nice added touch. thank you 2nd life.

And the stars come out eventually. At one time I wanted to name the constellations, but I never got around to figuring out if they're the same every night. Or if they move.

I'd never thought about that. I just did inworld Search for 'astronomy' and got 275 hits---apparently there's an interest inside SL. (Even a sim called "Astronomy".)

how long have the clouds been active? i just noticed it for this time. wondering if they've been around for a long time and i just set my graphics differently?
