Over the last week, I had noticed odd features in some of my items, particularly linked complex items....parts of them are bright red. Then, I started looking around carefully at my land, and noted that all of my single prim fish were red, and the root prim in any animated/scripted object was red. I've looked through all of my options, and cannot figure out WHAT I've turned on that would have this effect on my objects. Whatever it is, it is ONLY items with scripts in them that I see as red, and my friends who visit don't see it. It started about two weeks ago...any ideas?

I just started getting this last week. Anyone who has info on how to fix it, please post the answer. I have learned, like Danny, that it appears to be Scripted prims that are red. The color is very distracting because it covers some pictures in shops of items.

Check to see if the "View / Beacons Always On" menu item is set.

Ctrl-N will work if it's beacons too.

Push CTRL + N There is a beacon for scripted objects set by default. This will turn beacons off. If you want to leave beacons on go to View > Beacons and uncheck the scripted objects heading. That'll fix ya
Grrrr. Ann beat me. But the view from back here is nice anyway.

oh thank you thank you thank you thank you I thought something was wrong with my client, because nothing in advanced or Graphics tab changed it, and I was tearing my hair out, lol. Now, the hard part is figuring out when and where I turned that beacon thing on, lol! -Danny

No clue how.. but I have had interesting graphs, colored prims like you have, etc over time. One thing about using SL.. you always get a surprise.
