Missing default inventory items

A week ago, I discovered half my default library has gone awol.

The whole landscaping folder has disappeared including the folder itself

I've now tried everything including a fresh browser


Any ideas?

Not sure what you mean by a fresh browser (reinstall?), but have you cleared your cache?

Ive still got the problem

Ive now tried deleting all SL caches, logs etc and downloaded a new browser.

My Inventory/Library/Objects is missing most of its contents.

This is the default library that everyone has.

I'm missing the Atoll folder, Landscaping Folder etc etc

Anyone heard of this issue before?

I've got much the same problem. AFAIK I'm only missing the one folder which presumably is the 'Landscaping' one - I'd remembered it as 'Terrain' but with my memory you're probably right. As a result can't get access to the LL grass texture I want but I've only been aware of the problem for a couple of days since I was looking to use it so I don't know how long it's been missing.

I've tried clearing cache and using different viewers but it's not worked. Any ideas?

This has been brought up before. Seems only the default texture folders are what comes up missing. Sometimes sending one of those items as offered inventory "resets" the Library Inventory.

In the event that doesn't work, I have made boxed sets of the default textures to help out others and replace them.

IM me in-world and I'll send anyone a set that wants them. They are boxed by folder, so if you only want a specific folder, let me know. Otherwise, you'll get ALL the folders in boxes within a main box.

I have the same problem

My basic gestures folder has always been empty from my first down load. I was just thinking I had to buy all these cutesy gestures/moves, when a friend of mine just joined and she was doing them. I was so crushed hahaha, it was like look at what (though basic) I was missing or without lol. Do I just find these at freebie stores now? Though I have some purchased huds now, I'd really like my basics too.

I had this happen a few weeks ago. I tend to use the Library's "Woodfloor" texture for outdoor decking quite a bit. When I extended a deck to make a boatdock, I found that when I went to texture the previously untextured areas (exposed by copying prims), the entire "Library" folder wasn't even listed in inventory. I clicked on a prim already textured and selected the texture picker and nothing.

The next evening, same effect. I tried to figure out how I might have "deleted" the entire folder and started shopping for market textures. When I went back the next night (two days after original event) and opened the texture picker, all of a sudden the entire "Library" folder just reappeared and populated in inventory. Been there in its entirety ever since. hrug:
