There is nothing funny about that diagram. That is pretty much how real tech support works. On the contrary: this is pretty much how real tech support works, and that's what makes the diagram funny. Doubly so for anyone who's heard, "You know a lot about them computer things, can you show me how to ___?" (FWIW, this is from http://www.xkcd.com/ ) _____________________

they missed one question after 'start' which should be "is your computer switched on?" Instead of asking "is it plugged in", you ask "could you check to make sure that the power cable is securely plugged in, they get loose you know...". _____________________
