Taking snapshots of my shop and land, saved to disk on my computer... and they're in some file format called .j2c... which only PAINT SHOP PRO and PHOTOSHOP can open/read. I checked my client settings, nothing there that could have done this, so how is this happening?

You checked Advanced / Compress Snapshots to Disk.
Searching for ".j2c" would have given you an answer in seconds.

LL auto converts stuff to jpeg 2000 which is probably what you are seeing. Destined to be a new ISO standard........it has been failing miserably in the streaming media arena.
