I note that the group maximum is 25. Is there any plan to increase this? I'm hearing about vendors having to limit the number of stores they have because of sims requirements to be members of certain groups, and the maximum getting used up. Thx in advance.

Not sure of any plan to increase it. Apparently increasing it causes huge database issues, but I can't think why, compared to all of the other data that is flying around in SL.

this is why a lot of designers and creators have alts so that they can increase their groups to have vendors in more sims..
it's about the only way i know that is a work around for it..

when I rent anywhere, I join the group (if needed) place my stuff then leave the group
do not have to stay in the group unless you wish to change your items often

If you leave a vendor group you'll miss group messages, such as "Hey, we're closing down".
The group system needs an overhaul completely. Land groups and communication groups should be separate, or at least have an option to have a group that has no land permissions at all.
