Anyone know someone who flies a plane with the same careless abandon as Trout?
I do.
I flew with Brann last night in her beautiful P-40 Warhawk. Well, she was "in", I was "on", relegated to sitting on the turtledeck due to the single seat nature of the craft. Cap'n Georgia was looking very stylish herself, in a period brown leather fighter pilot's jacket and shades.
Airspace was tight, as we were on a single region estate, surrounded by void. Brann cranked the little ship around like a contestant at the Reno Air Races, and treated us to some hair-raising treetop level aerobatics (at one point actually flying THROUGH a large, old-growth specimen's trunk), and some barrel rolls (unintentional, I think.)
We crashed two or three times in the swamp, but each time the intrepid aviatrix managed to get her ship back into the air.
I had a grand time. In fact, I just now remembered that Abbott's has a series of planes specifically intended for mock dogfighting. I think we should get a group together for a little aerial mix-'em-up.

As frightened of flying as I am in RL (due to a RL emergency landing I once had...), as fanatic I am about flying in virtual worlds....at least I can crash as much as I like! I need to get myself a proper little fighter plane and join you!

Yay Brann! Count me in. I have at least three combat enabled planes now. The trusty little red biplane, the Spitfire and the P-51 Mustang. I am deeply and painfully in love with the Spitfire since Max showed it to me at the hangout (I successfully took off from the roof, but crashed into the stairs trying to land it back where I found it.)

I have a Messerschmitt Bf 109 and a Focke-Wulf Fw 190. I got the last one because I like saying it. I suck as a pilot though. But we may need to turn damage on and have some dogfights above the Hangout.
