Do most residents from non-English speaking countries come to these forums ?

Or do they mainly go to their respective third party forums ? I could understand easily why Germans, for example, may wish to only frequent their third-party forums. Thanks in advance for your time. :)

I guess it depends if they are somewhat fluent in english. I hang out mostly here because I have no trouble with the english language and, frankly, this is where all the action is. *gg* The German forum is the most active one of the native forums, but still there are sometimes no posts in days.

Edit: Sorta misread your question. Are there any third-party german forums for SL? If so, can someone point me there? ;)

The language barrier and the fact that in my opinion less european residents have payment info on file than american ones are the most important roadblocks I think. One would have trouble to understand most of the posts here if they only have to rely on the english learned at school ;)

@ Novis: the ones I mostly read at are www.slinfo.de and www.slinside.de

Ummm...yes, there are these German forums...no, I don't go there. I prefer an international atmosphere and I speak English every day anyway at work; my web page and blog are in English, as is almost everything else I do on line....
I did have a look at some of those German forums, but didn't like them-too German maybe! ;) Or maybe I am too much of an anglophile.

Of course your native language is preferable, but I am just curious and tenacious enough to haunt the forums of other languages even though I can't understand because I can use an online translator like http://world.altavista.com/
Its not perfect, but often I can understand enough to keep up on the latest.
