It is with regret that my family and I will be putting our island home, Dragon Isle, for sale Sunday night or Monday Morning. After a long battle with RL issues and billing errors it is no longer feasible for us to keep it. This however does not deter from the fact that Dragon Isle is home to one of the more beautiful builds in SL, The Hidden Venice. We do not hold much hope that a buyer will come along that wants to preserve the build as well as buy the island. This is not a plea for traffic, traffic is irrelevant in a sim that is going to be torn down. Nor is it a plea for a buyer. This is simply and invitation to one and all to come see something lovely before it is lost forever.

Respectfully
Dark

On my way out to have a last look at the Isle. So sorry to hear about your troubles and the sale of your home.

You probably don't remember me but I bought the prefab for my first shop from your island.

I do remember quite clearly actually. I was mid building the Cathedral when you came by and purchased from us. :)

It is wonderful to see your business has taken off so well. Hopefully after some time to regroup we will start up again on a smaller more manageable mainland plot.

*waves to Darkenss* You probably remember me because of all the noob mistakes I made with textures that morning. lol. I have always remebered your patience and kindness that day and your positive spirit about SL.

I hope that things work out for you and your family and that you find a wonderful new home on the mainland. I love my parcels there.

The builds on your island look wonderful. Hopefully some will reappear in your new home one day.

Best of Luck! :)

I'm really sorry to see your island go; I was just there and not only is the build very nice but there are great textures for sale as well. I was surprised to find really great sit animations too; I've been looking everywhere for some nice ones and there they were.

Hopefully you will be able to boot around SL as a tourist now. Hope everything turns out well for you.

See if there are any Italian or preservation groups you can contact before it gets sold to someone who does not want to keep your amazing build. Best of luck!

Nothing is lost forever as long as it's in someone's inventory.

As soon as the financials straighten out we plan on getting some mainland land and reopening the texture shop first. We have had that texture business as long as I have been in SL its only going away for a little while. Not super sure what Paul and Marie want to do with the animations but its gratifying to hear you liked thier work and I will pass the kudos on.

Excellent idea I had not thought of preservation groups. TY.

They exist. One bought my landscaping and park that I did in Mahulo and left it all intact. Think they were called Greenpiece.

We got a buyer more quickly than we dreamed and have begun the process of boxing up the build and taking things down. If anyone woul dlike a last look you have perhaps an hour or 2 left before its totally gone.

TY to everyone for the kind words and for stopping to visit.

Rats, missed getting back in to go see it by a couple of hours. Congrats on the fast sale and I am so sorry you had to let it go. Its heartbreaking, but I am sure you will build again, I hope at least! :)
