from basic to premium even though the money left my bank account via debit card?

Does it take hours? Days? :)

No, it should happen immediately. Contact Linden Labs support (try billing support).

If you sign in and look at "My Account", what does it say? Does it still say you are a Basic account or does it say "Upgrading to Premium"? If the latter, contact support. If the former, it does not look like the upgrade request was recognized. Jackie.

another question about account upgrading so i dont have to start another thread :D if one has a basic account like i do. and i upgrade to premium . can i go back to basic if i decide i cant afford premium ? or am i stuck :D

Yes, you can tier back down to Basic if you want to, after having been Premium. If you bought land while Premium, you must sell the land first. And the change downward takes effect when your pre-paid membership as a Premium expires - no refunds. So if you bought a year, and decided a month later You'd just as soon be basic, you can't revery fully for another 11 months. If you try, you'll be in a wierd "downgrade in progress" status between telling LL to tier you down, and it taking effect. In that time you still get Premium perks like live help and full support ticket access, but you can't buy land.
