The grid has been down all day. And so was the auction site. Which I found strange because lately, the ebay land auction site has been up during grid outages.
I was particularly interested in the auctions because there were a handful of full sim auctions ending today at 11:15 SL time. If you've ever bid on an auction, you know that usually the winning bids happen in the last minutes of the auction.
Well no one could bid on these auctions all day! The kicker is that shortly after 11:15, the auction site came back but the grid is still down. LL lost out on extra revenue from late bidding, unfairly giving out land at below market prices. And in the process pissing off people who wanted to bid on those sims.
Does anyone remember the names of the sims ending in auction today? I think Oxal was one. I want to see who the lucky winners are.
