Folder that won't open

Has anyone ever purchased a item and only received a folder that won't open?
What did you do?

Hi FD, long time no speak. IM the seller, it may be there is a problem with that item that they are not aware of. In any case they should be willing to send you a replacement folder that does open. Hope you get it sorted :)

I was thinking about you when I was recently making new waterfall textures. How are you doing?
The only time I have experience this is when I am dealing with textures.
Usually if you know the names you can track the texture down without dealing with folder.
The issue they didn't have list of textures in the vendors display.
I did write and send them notecard about the situation.
they sent me new folder but same thing is happening.
Issue I think is the folder won't open and I don't know what is in there.
The thing is I don't remember a list of textures from vendor. It wasn't set up that way.
My friend said I should wait and she go back and check it out with
me to see if its something wrong on my end before bugging them again.
I just wonder if anyone else is experiencing this.
I don't know what the texture names are so I am not sure if they really there or not.

It could be some form of SL glitch and you might want to wait a few hours or a day to see if the folder will open like it is supposed to. If you still have problems with both folders, I would IM the owner again asking if they've heard from other customers with the same problem. If the owner says yes, then you can offer to file a bug report to help get the glitch cleared up.

Are you sure it's not an object containing the textures in the contents?

I guess I just was wondering if its FD Spark specific bug or if others are ever effected by similar situation.

And also do you experience this with objects or texture folders?
If its just me then I don't know if I should report it....
because it can't be reduplicated.
I don't shop much I only either buy land or textures, and sometimes few occasional objects if
I really like the designs.

I don't know Hiro.
All I see is a folder now 2 that won't open with the name of item I bought and one sent to me when I couldn't open it.

does the folder you got have an arrow next to it? if not then it's empty, and you'll want to IM the seller....

if it has the arrow next to it, and it just won't open, it's probably SL being a pita.. you could try relogging, maybe even clear cache.

There is no arrow next to the folder

that would mean there's nothing in them (at least as far as your viewer knows)

try clearing cache and then relogging, if that doesn't do the trick, THEN IM the seller

Hi FD, fiancee picked a freebie folder which she couldn't get contents of for ages Monday evening. I never had the feedback as to whether she had an arrow visible while it was playing up.

Thanks I cleared cache before I logged out. I will see what happens when I log in and let you guys know what happens.
This really reminds me of why I hate shopping, its always one thing or another that makes the experience unpleasant.
Edit: I went and looked up the texture under the name of business and it showed up with folder open. LOL
