Some %$&^#ing griefer used a sim crasher in one of the Linden owned sandboxes that rezzes hundreds of physical prims. I got my abuse report in before the crash then tried to get out but couldn't. I logged out and now can't get back in. It keeps telling me that my login failed and that the system is now logging me out and my account won't be available until a certain time. Well that certain time has arrived 5 or 6 times now and every time I wait and try to log in, it puts the time available out another 10 minutes. What is up with that? It's been over a half hour now. Can any of you tech-advantaged people explain the mechanics of that so I don't blow a gasket! LOL!

Whenever that happens to me I don't wait, I just keep trying. Usually get logged in after 2 or 3 tries.

InSL u find every kind of no-life retard you could possibly imagine as well as a few even Tim Burton couldnt imagine u find 12yr-olds claiming to be 40 men claiming 2 be women, women claiming 2 make sense and every1 claiming 2 have ideas that are actually worth a damn if only someone would just listen to their unique innovative and exceptionally important idea

LOL I've been waiting. Another 10 minutes and it'll be an hour. My poor avatar is probably still floating over the dead sandbox over there!

Did you get in yet? If not I can send you an IM inworld that might remind the system you are not online.

Log in to your Home. Unless it's set to where you were originally!
That always works for me when something like this happens. Otherwise it can take forever to reset.
Good luck.

From: Markubis Brentano clear your cache and then log in to another sim. Would be hard to clear cache unless he can get into game.

From: Ike Fairweather Would be hard to clear cache unless he can get into game. Nope. Easy. You can access Preferences from the Login screen. ~Jessy

~Jessy the Cache is also located in your "Application Data" folder. Uninstalling SL used to delete the "Secondlife" entry in Application data - but it no longer does.

I finally got in. In the meantime, a friend and I figured out a neat little trick. If anyone gets stuck like that, log onto an alt and send an IM to the still online ghost avatar. It knocks them offline and you're able to log in again.
