Hi,
I recently downloaded the update and after a few minutes I finally found my friends list hidden under a new button called "communicate"
When I opened the list all my friends had vanished and there was only one entry
"Hippo"
I don't know any Hippo's so this seemed a little odd to me.

A hippo shows up when LL servers are confused who is on your friend list until it figures out what its doing, then the hippo goes home
 Truthfully though its happen to me and its usually when the friend list for some reason decided to bug out someone explained the Hippo to me but I have sadly forgotten where the hippo comes from. All I know is hippo visits when the LL is being buggy with one's friend list. |

If the client can't find the name of another user from the server, it will randomly display either "
 waiting)" or "hippos)" in all places where the name is supposed to be. |

I don't know any Hippo's so this seemed a little odd to me. Lindens have something with Hippo's.... I guess Hippo's are there mascot  .Morwen. |

I noticed one day if you hit (left)ctrl+alt+shift+h the client chats "Hippos!". I have always wonderd what that is all about.
