I fly up to the beautiful Scheherazadhe Gardens at 700m, at midnight, and look out over the edge. All the sky in a straight line out from me and upwards is black, with lovely stars, but all the sky straight out from me and downwards is chocolate brown. Yuk! Why?? Can anything be done about this god-awful color scheme?

Dare you to say Scheherazadhe three times fast. They probably spent more time putting this name together then building the place.

From: Ricardo Harris Dare you to say Scheherazadhe three times fast. They probably spent more time putting this name together then building the place. Said it Hoini is a 1001 Arabian Nights-themed sim. Scheherazadhe or Scheherazade was the daughter of the Grand Vizier who told her 1001 stories to King Shahryar, so the name didn't need putting together. As for 'they', that was me on both counts. The name for the Gardens was chosen in an instant. However, Hoini took three months to build initially (one year ago now), and is still being improved upon, daily. Just wish I could improve on this bloody awful chocolate-coloured sky! Rock

I'm no meteorologist but perhaps there's some chocolate rain coming.

From: Bodhisatva Paperclip I'm no meteorologist but perhaps there's some chocolate rain coming. Is it wrong that I know exactly what you're talking about? OP - This seems to happen above a certain height (I think above the cloud layer) and I don't think there's anything you can do about it. There's a skybox I hang out in from time to time (with permission - so no trespassing flames from you turkeys) and I see the same thing. It just occurred to me that you might try increasing your draw distance. I've noted that in the skybox, if I look down, all I see is water, even though I'm above land. I think that maybe that's just what gets rendered if you look beyond your draw distance. Look down, nothing within draw distance, you get H2O. Look out into the great beyond, you get brown goo. You can't increase your draw distance to infinity, so it may not matter. This is a complete wild ass guess, though. I'll try it tonight when I get on and see if it helps. I'm using Windlight fwiw.
