Is anyone else noticing a marked increase in the time Linden Lab is taking to process credit requests? I used to be able to "cash out" and expect my paypal account to be credited within 0 to 5 business days. I saw the whole range on that time period but now, it seems it is consistently 7 business days or more. Anyone else having the same issue?

Yes. Chalk it up to the number of staffers likely out for the holiday (or who had too much eggnog... :p

Hopefully it will improve again now that the holidays are over.

Yeah.. that's what they cited when I asked. Holidays, blah, blah, blah. I'd feel sorry for them, except I decided to ship my L$ over to the SLEx, cashed out there, used their mass pay option and had my money within an hour or two via Paypal.

Obviously, the Linden in charge of Paypal processing doesn't/can't do mass pay with Paypal. *sigh*

I've noticed the same delay the last 6 weeks or so. At least 7 days to cash out to PayPal.

no one likes proccessing transactions so they work on something else...

i`d gladly take up the job and fly to the US for just confirming payments as i think it`s 1 of the most appriciated jobs at LL when it you can reduce it to the minimum amount of days

another thing could be just free interrest building cause this is basicly printing money out of nothing...

Data for 2007

Ive been cashing out to PayPal every month either on the 1st of the month, or the last day of the previous month. Here's the arrival dates at PayPal for 2007:

Jan 7
Feb 1
Mar 6
Apr 6
May 8
Jun 3
Jul 2
Aug 3
Aug 31
Oct 2
Nov 2
Dec 7

So best times were Feb & August (0 days), worst was Dec (8 days)
The only major trend I see is that they had their act together Jun-Nov, and last month was slow. In Jul-Dec I was usually cashing out the last day of the month, so maybe its better to do it on that day rather than the 1st. Maybe a lot of businesses are cashing out on the 1st, after they close out a month, and it gets backlogged at that point.
