Ok I am crazy or what now?

Is there a way for outsiders to buy members Lindens?

It suddenly occurs to me that I really don't want/need anything for the holidays in RL, but I sure would like to suddenly feel wealthy here for a change. Buy those adjacent lots without losing sleep over it, a motor boat, some new clothing that didn't come out of a freebie box, etc.

Is this possible?

The only thing I could think that they could do would have them give you cash or checks, you deposit the money into your personal account then buy lindens...

I've never heard of outsiders being able to buy lindens without an account.

I'm thinking anything like this would set alarms off in the Linden Lab Risk API/Fraud Detection department :(

My next thought was possibly going through SLX, but you need an SL account in good standing to sign up there.

Cute idea though.

I guess that if they have a PayPal account, they could send money to your PayPal, and you could transfer it into SL that way? Dunno. Or they could just give you a $20 bill... :)

Yea, they give me cash, but I thought it would be cute if they didn't have to hand me the envelope with the money, and it would already be deposited directly to my SL account. Somehow it takes the fun out of it, knowing it's going into my joint bank account w/my husband like always, so it just doesn't feel special, you know?

/me feels like I'm not getting a gift that way :-(

No big deal though - would be a cool thing if it were available. My MIL always hands me $100, that alone would be a huge windfall for Elora!
