I notice people selling objects, where when you right-click on the object, the "Take" pie-menu entry has changed to "Buy". How's that done?
I know about setting the For Sale check-box and if I select the "Buy" drop-down below that, it works with a left click. No matter what I tinkered with though, I can't get the menu to change.

The take menu option will only be changed to buy for other people. You can't buy your own objects.

You ARE right. My alt sees the Buy instead of Take option. Thank you! Another good reason to have an alt (apart from permissions testing, lol).
Actually, aside from the menu confusion, I found that you CAN buy from yourself. The Lindens just go out and come straight back in. |

Yes, one of those strange little things they stuffed into SL is that you _can_ buy your own stuff! Right-click and More... will reveal a second Buy... slice. It does still make you have enough funds to pay yourself
