Hello!

I can't seem to find any links to download the RAW terrain templates. I want to change my island around and am looking for the RAW file for Island #3 - the one that has the lagoon in the middle.

Does anyone know where I can download this?

I'd suggest just using your estate tools menu and exporting your current file, unless it is far enough different that you do not want to use it.

Try sending a message to the Linden who delivered your island to you. At the time I received my first island there were two people on the team who helped me and were very helpful with stuff like that.

You might also try live chat also if it's up and running.

Hi Maddy - thanks for your reply. I sourced out a nice RAW file from slexchange. Not free, but certainly will do the job!

I don't own an island, but can't you just revert to the default and then extract the file from there?

Go to the Knowledge Base

Put in "raw file" as a search term.

Second result has links to download the raw files.

The incredibly awkward link below might work.

Thanks for your reply! Good idea but the raw file is/was not the original/baked template.

SuezanneC wins the prize - thank you so much! I purchased a cool looking RAW file that fits the bill and have already uploaded it but the "raw file" search did indeed do the trick = super useful...thank you!!

I was searching for 'default terrain raw download' and variations - I should keep it simple

incase you might need them again or some one else, i have them on my webserver along with some i played with and snapshots of my ex-island

also, if anyone has free raw files, i can host them for public usage

just add your 2nd life username at the top so i can create a directoy for people to see who created it and hopefully start a small but usefull repository for new and old sim owners who startup or need a change
