I was changing the color/style of my Av's hair and it messed up the eyebrow color. For the life of me, I can't remember how to get it back to the color I want (blonde). I did it once before. Can someone help? I know this is ridiculously simple, but I'm having a brain freeze. If it helps, I bought the hair from Gurl6.
Thanks!

Did you change your bald cap when you changed hair? If so, you might explore your inventory a little and see if you can find the original one. Otherwise, go to Appearance>Hair>Color and adjust the sliders. Your overall system hair color affects your brows on some skins. Others, like Celestial Studios, use the Appearance>Skin>Skin Color sliders to adjust the brow color.

Yes, I did change the bald cap. Plus, I did try changing the sliders but nothing seems to be making much of a difference. Me thinks I need to play around a bit with it some more based on what you are saying. Maybe it was just too late, and I was too tired to notice...

Well I think the only way you can change the eyebrow color is if the skin is mod..

Right. I know for sure that when I bought my first hair from Gurl6, I was able to change my eyebrow color to something which suited me better - I want the Av to look like a natural blonde, not a bottled blonde and the dark brows make her look that way. I bought a second hair style from them, and it didn't change the brow color when I changed styles. For some reason, when I purchased a third style yesterday, the brow color changed. All 3 styles were purchased in the same color range.
I guess I should just contact the vender - I'm sure they would be able to help me. I thought I remembered seeing instructions included about this in the download, but it doesn't seem to be there.

The only two things (besides the sliders) I can think of that would change your brow color are changing skins or changing bald caps. Sorry.

Let's be clear about something. Putting on a prim attachment such as hair will not change your eyebrow color. You changed your bald cap. Period. You need to find your original bald cap and wear that one.
This is why I delete all new bald caps with new hairstyles. I don't need extras (in the case of some folks here, hundreds of extras!). I have one, and maybe one copy. But I keep a folder with "standard" settings - shape, eyes, etc. and some kind of default clothing so I can easily find them and wear something in a pinch. I know where to find my skin. Put the bald cap in with your default features in a folder. Should this ever occur again, you will know where to find it.
This is a great excuse for becoming a folder nazi!

Cristelle, I remember saving my Av when I bought the original hair, so I would assume the original bald cap is on that "save", correct? However, I tried looking for that "save" yesterday, because this did occur to me, and couldn't seem to locate it. Which folder would that have been saved into? You'll have to forgive my ignorance at the moment, made more so by the fact that I'm at work, and SL is only run at home, so I can't even check anything so see if I'm making any sense in what I'm saying

Otherwise, edit your appearance and take note of the folder where your shape is. But that really doesn't really mean anything if you saved with a bald cap in a different folder.

I think bald caps default to the Body Parts folder when saved.

Actually, I don't think so. Editing your appearance and saving will only save to the existing folder, IIRC. So if she wore the bald cap that came with her first hairstyle and didn't move it, it should be saved there.

You're probably right...I pulled my 'standard' bald cap out of the hair folder it came in and made copies with brow adjustments for different skins. All of the copies went where the original was which, in my case, wasn't with any particular hair. Elora's probably is.
