Over the past day or two when I sit in chairs without it's own animation I sit in them sideways at a 90 degree angle. Last night at a club while everyone else sat in the chairs just fine I sat sideways. I don't know if they had sitting AO's or if it's a problem with my AV. Please help.

I think, with chairs that don't have an inbuilt animation, the way you are facing when you try and sit determines which way you sit on the chair.
Try removing all animation overrides you're wearing too as they can make things go a bit wonky sometimes.
