I want to raise my land up, and I have a small land flatener but it's relatively small and it doesn't always want to work properly. Is there any wait to reset my land I'm renting and start fresh, and what are some tools I should get to shape my land? What are some ways to add privacy to my land?

Select your entire parcel (accomplished by clicking 'edit land') and then on the little edit windowy thing select 'raise land' and then press the button near that multiple times to apply 'raise land'.

This works for 'flatten', 'lower' and all the other options too :)

Have fun!

also if you want to raise just a part of the parcel, using the land edit tools, first select the area you want to edit (the same way you select to subdivide) then check the option you want to do (flatten, lower, raise, smooth, etc) then on the right where you choose the tool size, under that is the option apply to selection, click that and it will edit just the part you have selected

hope that helps

As for privacy, trees are the usual although if you want to go further because of unsightly stuff,I would suggest prim boundaries. You can find some nice textured panels on SLX or knock them up yourself.

There are other kinds of illusions that are sort of Escher backward, putting 2D imagery on 3D surfaces which you only get the proper effect of viewed from a specific place.

So I guess one could start with an Escher drawing, project that onto a 3D build, and when you got in the right place, there would be an Escher drawing doing it's weird trickery on you.

whats an easier way to terraform a 65,536 plot at once ?
besides raising draw distance and camming high up and selecting the entire plot ?

Right click on the land, "about land" - and you have the whole thing selected, without camera games.
