What does "RT could not load a valid user" mean?

Hi all,
Just checking my email i received one from [email]rt@rt.lindenlab.com[/email] stating:

"RT could not load a valid user, and RT's configuration does not allow
for the creation of a new user for your email."

Anyone have a clue what this means? I haven't done anything unusual today on SL, not had to relog or anything...
Google and searching the forums doesn't reveal anything...
Any idea?

Sounds like you received some kind of bogus email, perhaps while they were working on it. or perhpas someone tried to recover your password.

Thanks for replying...I'm afraid it sound like someone was trying to log in AS me but failed because i was already logged in?


ETA: ok...just tried to log in as myself again and it logged off my first login for the second, so that wasn't it :/

i have gotten a similar reply in my email after filing an AR. Just figured it meant that there was an issue with the person i filed the AR against.

ah yes! Thanks. i did have to file an Abuse Report today while in a sand box trying to build. Someone with annoying following loud object thingie tagged me so i reported it for harassment.
Just the part about "and RT's configuration does not allow for the creation of a new user for your email" is really confusing.

ok i just had to file and AR about a just created avie, moron kept shooting me and everyone else on the sim. I got that exact email from the AR "RT could not load a valid user, and RT's configuration does not allow for the creation of a new user for your email."


Talk to someone in Live Help, they said if you get this email then the AR was not properly received, and to file the AR again.
