Lately I've noticed that I don't get "ding" when I receive a new IM. Anyone know what the problem is? Also, most times my "sounds" and "ambient" don't work even though I have the sliders turned up in the speaker icon box.

I noticed this too, starting yesterday. My IMs would arrive without a Ding! sound. I haven't made any recent changes in my settings...
Hopefully the problem will go away by itself.

I've noticed this also, and often times I don't hear gesture sounds either... but music works fine.. hmm...

i have noticed that i hear the ding for group ims but not for ims from individuals. i wish it was the opposite as i tend to want to ignore lots of the group spam and i really want to notice the ims from my peeps. (dont get me started on the communicate box. im still missing the pre-voice im box.)

the few times I've bought something today, i don't here that cash register sound like you usually do, but yet when i'm home, i can hear my fire crackling, wave sounds, etc..
weird.
