Ok, my partners prims will show but he is unable to change clothes. He can see a different shirt and pants, but no one else can. After relogging on and off for days, rebaking 100 times, doing appearance...nothing seems to work. We even went to a completely empty sim to shed some lag and still he's not able to get his clothes to change.
Any ideas???
He's using Linux and the emerald viewer. But those who see him are using the LL viewer and emerald same.

First use sl viewer...

then have him change clothes, sit for a minute or two...then change again. Someone inworld had the same problem, when they switched viewers, and did this it helped. I guess you then could go back to emerald. Let us know if it helped.

tell'em to type 'gth 99999999' an then tp him back down. he wont be able to tp back down himself cuz his cam will stay stuck up at 10million meters... he will have to tp to another sim prlly.
not sure if this will halp... but worth a shot. if relogging won't work.. i doubt this will.

Sounds like a bug from earlier this year. Is he using the current version of Emerald? If so, he should report this on their site/forum. If not, he should update to the current version.

thank you all so much for your help. His clothes have changed but I do believe it was just an sl glitch. Lets hope they have it fixed. Soo frustrating!

It's basically just sim lag. The simple fix is to move to another sim. It's best to change clothing in a sim with little to no one in the sim. When I have that problem, often times you'll see a system message that says "An Attachment is Pending for that Position". When that's happening, and nothing is appearing, teleport to a sim with no one in it. Stand there a few seconds, then teleport back by opening local chat and using the teleport SLURL that appears in the local chat window.
