There was pretty much nothing new said. Blondin will mention that people would like to see Zindra changed back to mature but he doesn't believe that will meet a positive response, nor do I.

This whole fiasco just trundles on and on.

Back to mature from what? And was it ever mature to begin with? I thought it was always adult. What's this about?

People want it set back to mature because adult activity is still allowed on mature sims. You're probably right, it was probably always adult but folks are complaining about low traffic and not being found in search whilst other adult business carries on merrily on mature land.

In essence, do away with the Adult category? Wouldn't that be a pisser, after all the hue and cry of the past few months, to just scrap it?

Well I would but no, they want everyone running an adult business to be in the adult category and until such times as LL enforce their rules, they want to be competing with the same customer base, so they want Zindra set to mature.

well they have 2 choices that make sense and a third that will probably be what happens

Make sense
1. go back to the old system and scrap the whole adult thing
2. enforce the rule on the mainland

likely to happen
3. blithely go on as they are already and hue and cry from the residents be darned

Actually add to number three, "Ask the residents to police and report the infractions on mature land," and I think we'll see the closest answer. [sarcasm] I mean it worked really great for all their other bans, after all.. [/sarcasm]

LL needs to stop giving the residents the "official" means to harass/spy on/witch each other.

I do mean this in a constructive way, though I know it probably won't sound like it, but the participants seem to have made it really easy for Blondin to avoid answering questions, and to cherry-pick the ones he did answer, by going on about their own pet concerns - or the attractiveness of each other's outfits - with little attention to the wider picture.

Given the nature of SL, I guess it'd be impossible to put together a short list of the really inportant questions before the meeting, for one voice at a time to ask them, and for everybody to keep quiet and wait for an answer: no possibility then of him using the excuse that he's too busy reading the questions to have time to answer any of them.

Yet another example of Linden Lab's combination of rules and enforcement resulting in punishing the honest and rewarding the dishonest.
