hi as you can tell by my question i don't call support all that much but when it asked me if i wanted to get a copy sent to email i clicked yes

There was a support portal maintenance that affected functions of live chat, too. Maybe that is the reason, although maintenance is supposed to be complete. We all know how LL's definition of this is, though.

Mjolnir, i've heard that the "copy to email" hasn't been working for a while now.. but, you should be able to find a copy of all your tickets and/or chats on the website. secondlife.com front page > Support > Ticket Submission > My Support History tab (i think that's what it's called, but it's a tab at the top of the page) > list of support stuff the page you get to should have all your tickets and chats listed there, then you can click-through to read any of them (and reply to tickets, if needed) ..hope that helps!
