So...tried to log in this morning to check my SL and first try was a no go. The entire program locked up. Closed it and second try it took a loooong time to log on but I was rerouted to a hobo camp in Calletta. Can't tp home, can't hardly move for that matter.

Are we back to Friday being borkday in SL? Is this due to the new beta RC (which I haven't downloaded yet). Is this part of the new server issues?

As long as we no longer have the 8 hour outtages on "Update Wednesday" followed by the 12 hour outtages starting on Friday and going through to Saturday to fix what they broke when they updated, I'm happy.

Heck, I was attempting to check my account via the webpage and kept getting the 'status' page.

[UPDATED 04:49 am PDT] We are going to close logins for a short time to help the database recover.

We are receiving reports of failing logins for some residents, and are investigating. More information will be published as soon as we have it.

It's always the rolling restarts that cause problems, viewer problems won't impact the grid at all.

We haven't had rolling restarts for a few weeks and everything's been well-behaved, they started one last week and it's been trouble since.

Second Life works fine just as long as the Lindens don't try to "fix" anything

I much, much, much preferred update Wednesday.

At least you knew the grid could break down on Wednesday but the rest of the week was generally fine (referring to mid 2006).

Whoa o.O I just clicked back over to my SL program and I'm standing in my skybox. Didn't realize that I made my tp home finally and I haven't been logged out. There's at least one ava in SL! Hello hello hello echoechoecho...

Meh, time to log out and get ready for work anyway. *laugh*

/edit Oops, spoke too soon. The program just crashed.

At least you were rerouted to someplace interesting. I got dumped in a huge cluster of gray people at the Linden Alpine resort, or some such place, where no one spoke English. (Not that I stuck around long enough to converse, just sayin

Logging in and tp problems

I for one would just like to get some stability. Have trouble logging in, and even when I get in I sometimes dont have any groups, so have to log out again, then have to wait for crazy handshake AGAIN, takes several tries.

Then once i do get in and try to teleport, I might get in 1 whole teleport before i crash out when teleporting.

Just getting really old since i do pay for premium tier which does no good sometimes if i cant get in!!!!!
