Why do my 'groups' keep disapearing in my profile?

Hi all,

I am having a heap of trouble with getting into SL inworld and out of world and it all seems to co-incide with losing my groups in my profile.

Others can see the groups but i cant so I cant change groups etc. I have tried clearing my chache's but it has not worked this time.

Can anyone give me some help, or point me to an answer somewehre here as I need to fix it to be able to rez items for my shop and i cant change groups to do so.....sigh.

It might not help, but I'm thinking a full uninstall/clear cache/reinstall might be in order.

More than likely, your groups aren't appearing because the Asset Server isn't responding to the request in a timely manner, and your profile just sits there partially loaded.

Try this:

Click ctrl-shift-1 to open the Stats Window. Look for "Pending Downloads". If that number is anything greater than 0, try teleporting to a different region that is 0, and then check your groups again.

If you can't teleport, or can't find a region with 0 pending downloads - there's a bigger SL problem going on, and you're better off just waiting it out.
