I have a friend who lives on a private island
the owner of the sim is Missing in Action and she is worried about the sim being shut down and the time frame on that
She knows for a fact that his tier is due on the 6th of the month
When should she start worring about her items and is there any way to know if tier was paid on the sim and that her house and items are secure
thanks in advance

amazingly, the island owner never needs to enter the game. As long as the account can sell lindens from their account on the secondlife website, the tier can be paid.

6th+10days but she does not have to make worries when there is enough us$ money in the sim owners account or on his credit card. payments are done automatically.

if for some reason the sim is shut down, you can contact the Lindens and they'll let you back in to get your stuff.

From: Xplorer Cannoli amazingly, the island owner never needs to enter the game. As long as the account can sell lindens from their account on the secondlife website, the tier can be paid. Assuming the player is actively cashing out Lindens or has a large amount of reserves in his USD account. If his USD account is empty, he could be L$-rich and his account would still be suspended 10 days after being late on tier. (Also true that so long as his credit card is valid, it will be charged automatically when needed.)

I could be wrong but to own an isalnd don't you have to have some sort of payment info on file? It should just come right out of Her payment info account ie..Visa,mastercard,paypal ect ect
I would hope she can afford the island without having to count on land rental or sales to pay for it.
