I was talking to the billing dept yesterday about how long it's taking to get a credit process. I was going to back out and cancel which you can do but in order to do it you have to send a ticket requesting the credit process to be canceled and that should take no more than 2 days or so he said to cancel it. He also said that it should take no longer then 5 business days to get a credit process and I explained that it is taking sometimes 2 to 3 weeks of waiting. He told me that if it was longer then 5 business days something is wrong and put in a ticket about it so that it can be looked into because it should not take longer then 5 business days. Well I hate to be in negitive mode here, me thinking I will believe it when I see it happen. But if what he said is true then maybe we all should send the tickets and see if it works.

I'll outdo your negative and go with, "How about instead of sending in a ticket, we start using a system that works, like SLexchange, where they don't HAVE a ticket system and respond to emails within 24 hours or next business day if it's a weekend/holiday?"
I stopped using the Lindex for anything other than to pay tier, because it took me nearly 8 business days and when I sent in a ticket I got, "Sorry, we're experiencing higher transaction volumes because of the holidays..." when I did a similar one with SLEx the day after the Lindex one and got it the SAME DAY. Something about Mass Pay with Paypal works really, really, really well and I wish LL would figure that out.

Think about it LLABS says they are 7 days a week 24 hours a day 365 days a year Social setting. But they still have below aveage billing department system that double bills, screws up credit card billing etc etc etc etc etc..............

I do agree that even if the exchange is a bit higher to get it faster with no problems makes it well worth the cost. I just dont get what LL's problem is. I used to work in accounts payable/recieveable and its really not that hard to do. According to them there is not that many people making any money in SL

I've never found SLExchange to cost more. I usually get someone to buy my Lindens at a nominally better exchange rate than what the Lindex gives. From what I see the exchange rate for buying Lindens on SLExchange is also somewhat better

Right now LL is 267/1 to sell I havent sold at SLX so I'm not sure the rate but I was looking and what I saw was 285/1. I'm probably not looking in the right place though
