Why is it that I am always hovering above the ground? Is there something I can do to correct this problem? I wondered if it was my AO so I bought another one, yet I still suffer from the same issue.Having to press the FLY button twice to correct it each log in is getting old.

Does this happen regardless of Start Location setting? (If only Home, then maybe just reset your Home location?) I vaguely recall having had this happen to me before once or twice, but can't remember more of the circumstances... maybe the avatar was Ruthed at the time, which would suggest a communications problem if it were to happen frequently.

Thanks for the reply.I just done some testing. It seems that if I am standing on a prim on my land and I log out, whenever I log back in, I WILL be hovering. If I log out on my land when I'm standing on the terrain outside of my house, then I won't be hovering. I went to a couple of other sims, and logged out while standing on a prim, and while standing on the terrain. Both times, when I logged back in, I was NOT hovering. This leads me to believe its something on my land that is causing the problem. This also doesn't only happen to me. Seems that whenever someone logs out and back on while on my land, they will also be hovering. No idea where to go from here : (

This happens to me sometimes too, but I don't see what the big deal is. Click Fly, then Stop Flying and you're good to go. *shrug*

From: Brick Infinity Seems that whenever someone logs out and back on while on my land, they will also be hovering. Any non-phantom megaprims in the vicinity? (Not necessarily even your own.) Mind you, I'm the last person to attribute glitches to megaprims--they're blamed for everything from hovering to halitosis--but it does kinda sound like a problem with calculating the collision envelope, which megaprims exhibit. Some regular prims do that too; even a simple box with lots of top-skew will screw things up, or rezzing inside the hollow part of anything.

I rent 16ksqm on a private island, and the building itself is in the corner of the SIM with an expanse of land between me and other residents. I would assume that I am far enough away from others who may have mega prims on the SIM to be affected by them. *Edit* Appreciate the help Qie : )
