Newbie - Where are my $Lindens?

The L$300 stipend is distributed on Tuesdays. Most people come here to complain at 12:01am Tuesday to complain they haven't received it yet.

Your large bonus of L$1000 will come in 45 days.

You get your Bonus 45 Days after signup I believe

OK, Thanks for the reply. Instant Gratification isn't fast enough for me. Since they took my money immediately after I clicked the button, the same should happen in return.

In this forum all Avatars and Signatures are turned off?

Hi conductorx, welcome to the forums!

To see signatures avatars and inline images, choose "User CP" in the menu above and edit your options so you can see avatars and signatures - yes, they are off by default. You can also set your own.

oh, p.s.: you may also want to enable private messages on the forums, that is, if you want others to be able to bother you in private.

It's to prevent people from becoming premium, getting their bonus, then canceling immediately. Irritating but logical.



At the top of the page go to Quick Links then edit options. You'll find there how to turn them on and off.

Ah now it looks like a regular forum.

I understand about the $Lindens, I'm not ready spend them yet anyway. I'm still learning how to build stuff.

Just to clarify, did you sign up as a Premium when you created your account, or as a Basic member who then upgraded to Premium? If you started as a Basic, you're not eligible for the bonus at all.

They might have changed that. My alt started basic...went premium 2 weeks later. And in her second month, she got L1250 Linden grant. Unless that was a mistake on their part. In that case......shhhhhhhhhh.

Actually, as I understand it, not allowing upgrades the bonus was the more recent change. I believe my av received it as well.

Upgrading is not a new registration.

I never got the bonus.. and I went premium on Sept. 23rd

I'm not sure. I created my alt in late July....went premium probably in mid-August. I didn't receive the "bonus" within 45 days, though. In that case, I would have received it at the end of September, or thereabouts as my alt's billing date is the 17th of every month. I think I received the L1250 at the end of October, to be honest. I thought from what i was reading on the forums at the time that she wouldn't get the premium bonus, but she did. I thought maybe they had changed it because some people complained to LL that it wasn't clear that it was for people who sign up as premium immediately. So, since she was an alt, and not a new registration, that's why she recieved the bonus. Makes sense, then, I suppose.

That sucks... if true. No one in thier right mind would plunk down cash without trying it first. Even as a Premium member I am not impressed yet. I have some ideas thrashing around in the head though.

You can bet I plan to file a trouble ticket if I don't get my $L.

You know...I'm not sure that it's true you don't get the bonus if you upgrade. I started as a basic, and upgraded within a couple of days. It took 3 months, but I got my bonus.

All I know is the membership page says it has to be a new account registration to be eligible for the bonus and several people have posted in the forums saying that Support told them Basic to Premium upgrades don't get it.

Of course, LL changes things around on us all the time without bothering to tell anyone...

I think it was the premium bonus, but who really knows? "Linden grant" is pretty non-specific
