Does anyone know the maximum length for both first and last names in SL? This info will help me make a product support login page. Thanks in advance!

hmmm...not sure.. maximum surname length depends on the names released by SL.. probably could be longer than any current tho... firstname can be quite long. 31 characters total (Just checked) only letters and numbers

 For last names, I recommend talking to Adz Childs. He runs the SL Namewatch web site, which is based on a database of all SL last names. I bet he could run a custom query on the database to see what the longest last name is (at least so far). Adz's site: http://slnamewatch.com/ |
