Ok, I have a group owned Freeview TV and a remote setup. I can load videos and watch no problem - but no one else (in the group) can start a video. They get the menu and can hit PLAY (as long as they are wearing they're group tag) but nothing happens. I (owner) seem to be the only one that can use it even though it's deeded and shared to the group).

Check their group role to ensure that they have the power to change the media on the land. _____________________

maybe this will help... we both went to another sim theater... I could see the movie, she couldn't. I'm guessing it has something to do with her settings???

I would have her verify that QuickTtime is installed and working correctly on her computer. Perhaps having her reinstall QuickTime would be a good place to start (I am assuming she has media activated in SL's preferences or she wouldn't even see the play button I don't believe.) _____________________

Thank you Gabby. That was it, she installed the latest version of QT and the problem is fixed. Thanks again ! BC |
